How we do it
Covocacional exists to develop pathways for covocational leaders, propelling them forward in God’s mission to see gospel saturation across the US and Latin America. These pathways take shape through missional training processes—such as residencies, mentoring, and training centers—that equip leaders to live and serve missionally in every sphere of life. The missional framework Covocacional brings serves as a catalyst for the efforts of networks and churches, helping them cultivate a deeper missional DNA that strengthens and multiplies their work.
-
→ Inspire
We seek to collaborate with those whom the Spirit is awakening to the mission of God.
We aim to lead with a compelling vision of God’s kingdom, rather than with the expansion of a particular ministry brand, theological distinctiveness, or organizational structure.
We “cast the net wide” through introductory sessions that explore the missionary nature of God, the sent-ness of the church, the Bible as a missionary text, or the call to a missionary encounter with culture.
As the Spirit stirs hearts, we seek to walk alongside and partner with those who are compelled to take a step forward in pursuing their missional calling.
-
→ Develop
We believe that developing healthy leaders is a Spirit-led journey of discipleship.
We develop transformational opportunities that help leaders and pastors realign their lives with God’s mission. In some contexts, we help reframe the vision from the ground up; in others, we strengthen and renew an existing process.
Our leadership pipelines include an on-ramp that inspires and integrates those we are called to partner with. The core of each pipeline consists of formative opportunities and shared experiences that cultivate holistic development. Each pipeline leads to a launching hub, sending leaders to plant and embody the gospel within a particular context.
-
→ Reimagine
We believe that seeing exponential growth requires rethinking traditional models of leadership development and church planting. Rather than relying on approaches that are complex, costly, or difficult to reproduce, we seek to cultivate models that are simple, sustainable, and adaptable across diverse contexts.
At the heart of this vision is opening meaningful pathways for co-vocational leaders to participate fully in God’s mission.
As leaders journey through a pipeline, they are formed as missional practitioners, servant-leaders, and pioneers, equipped to multiply disciples and plant the gospel in their particular contexts.
“How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!””
